After months of crying, slobbering, chewing, and sleepless nights, your child finally has all their baby teeth. Now, the anticipation builds for their first visit from the Tooth Fairy, but when will they lose their first tooth? Generally, you can expect a loose tooth around the age of 6. Although they will each eventually fall out, they serve an important role. To ensure that their baby teeth allow your child to develop proper chewing and speaking abilities, it is best to care for their smiles to nurture their oral health. If they lose a tooth too early, you will need to see your family dentist in Vienna.

At Vienna Smiles, we do more than just provide dental care. We care about our community and our patients, which is why we take our services a step further to host Dentistry from the Heart each year. This past September, we hosted the 4th annual Dentistry from the Heart event to help those in our community receive the dental care they need for free. It is estimated that 100 million Americans are unable to see the dentist due to the cost of care. As a Vienna dentist, we do not want to see our community place their oral health at risk due to finances, which is why we offer free services once a year to those in need.

Food, Fun, and a Focus on Good Dental Health
Patients of all ages enjoyed food, fun, and a good time at the barbecue. What an amazing celebration and fun way to kick off summer while focusing on good dental health! We had so much fun celebrating with our raffles and giveaways, music, volleyball, face painting, balloons, and of course delicious food and beverages. But the best part was getting to mix and mingle with the coolest patients around! Thank you for helping our dental practices in the Vienna, Fairfax, Arlington, and The Plains, VA grow. It really is patients like you who allow us to continue doing what we love — and we are so very thankful for your continued support.
Again, a big thank you goes out to everyone who came out to our First Annual Smiles Summer Barbecue. The whole team at Vienna Smiles and Mosaic Smiles is so grateful for you! We are proud to be your family dentist in Vienna VA.

Hisham Barakat and Jennifer Bobbio are capable of seeing everyone in your family from the very youngest to the eldest.
